Local Operators Are Growing Zinga! Frozen Yogurt's New England Presence

New Zinga! store opens in Malden, MA, with more to follow in region.

Malden, MA (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 - A new Zinga! Frozen Yogurt store opened in Malden, MA, this week, further enhancing Zinga's growing presence in the Greater Boston area. Grand Opening is Saturday, April 26.

The store is located at 775 Eastern Avenue, across from Planet Fitness at the entrance to Crystal Street and Malden Catholic High School, and shares a new building with Domino's Pizza. Local Zinga! Saugus franchisees Shannon Astle of Wakefield, MA, and Leonard Ceglarski of Byfield, MA, teamed up again to bring even more local ties and experience to the new Zinga! Malden location.

"At Saturday's Grand Opening we're donating free froyo to the first 500 customers and encouraging our patrons to donate to the Julia E. Vanella Scholarship Fund, created in honor of Julia whose family has supported our Saugus location from the beginning," Ceglarski said. Julia, a Malden High School junior, passed away in a traffic accident in January.

In addition to the Malden store, other area Zinga! stores include Saugus, Reading, North Andover, Peabody and Seabrook, NH.

"New England is proving to be a great market for Zinga," said Astle. "I attribute that to our educated customer base. They know that – whether sticking to their diet or splurging – they're always getting their live and active cultures and probiotics at Zinga, along with a delicious product."

Zinga! Frozen Yogurt offers dozens of yogurt flavors including gluten-free, no sugar added and Greek Yogurt. In addition to the number of healthy toppings available, Zinga! also offers non-dairy options in Sorbet and Italian Ice (coming this spring) as well as Gelato and Custard (also coming this spring).

All of Zinga's yogurt flavors meet the National Yogurt Association's criteria for "live and active culture yogurt." All are 100% dairy along with live cultures, as Zinga never uses any powders for their yogurt.

According to Ceglarski, the store will be hosting community and school fundraising events, birthday parties and other activities. Interested groups should contact the store. To keep customers up to date about changing flavors and promotions, follow the store's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ZingaMalden) as well as Twitter and Instagram (@ZingaMalden).

The Malden Zinga! Frozen Yogurt store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Phone: 781-912-2368.
