Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Knoxville Location

Owners Celebrate With Fundraiser

April 30, 2014 - Knoxville, TN - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Knoxville on April 30. Franchise owners Philip Horn and Donald Bauer, along with operating partner Ryan Wood, held a grand opening fundraiser from Wednesday, April 30 to Sunday, May 4 to support the YMCA of East Tennessee.

The new restaurant, located at 4839 Kingston Pike, donated 50 percent of all sales from April 30 to May 4 to the YMCA of East Tennessee.

"Opening a Jersey Mike's location in Knoxville is a great opportunity for the brand," said Bauer. "We are so excited to serve new customers and make a difference for our local community. In fact, for the first five days that we are open, half of our sales will be donated directly to the YMCA of East Tennessee. At Jersey Mike's we believe in making a positive impact in our communities while serving a top quality sub sandwich and that's exactly what we plan to do here in Knoxville."
