Ryan Miske and Wendy Yan Win M&A Advisor 40 Under 40 Awards

May 06, 2014 // Franchising.com // Faegre Baker Daniels corporate partners Ryan Miske and Wendy Yan have received 40 Under 40 Award recognition from The M&A Advisor in the Legal Advisor category.

Miske, who offices in Minneapolis, co-led the deal team for Hormel Foods Corporation in its acquisition of Skippy® peanut butter in 2013, and his transactions last year had a combined value of approximately $1 billion.

Yan works out of FaegreBD's Shanghai office, and has led and played integral roles for several significant international and cross-border transactions. She was lead counsel in China for Hormel in the Skippy® acquisition, and led the joint venture of Microsoft with BesTV New Media Company. The joint venture made history by being among the first group of licensed businesses in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone.
