Family Financial Centers Announces Second Annual Gala for CHOP

Doylestown, PA (Business Wire) – June 24, 2014 - Family Financial Centers hosted its second annual Gala for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on May 17th, 2014. The event was held at The Standard Club in Doylestown, PA and began with appetizers and donated wine and beer from local shops and breweries. Following the cocktail hour was a talent filled performance by several current and past Broadway actors, and select up and coming performers from Dance Elite Studio in Horsham, PA. The show included a featured dance performance by Katherine Barkman of Richboro, PA who recently made it to the finals in New York City for the Youth America Grand Prix International Ballet Competition. Barkman was also one of 99 ballet dancers worldwide who has been selected to compete in the Olympic style International Ballet Competition to be held in Jackson, Mississippi this June. Family Financial Centers is pleased to be presenting The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a check for $6,000 that will be used for pediatric diabetes research.
