Home Care Assistance of Greenville Employee, Holley Boyington, is Named 'Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year'

(PRWEB) July 01, 2014 - Home Care Assistance Greenville, a leading provider of in-home care for seniors, is committed to finding and training top-notch caregivers, and fostering positive caregiver-client relationships. After being nominated alongside a number of caregiving peers, Home Care Assistance employee Holley Boyington was honored as the "Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year" at the 7th Annual All About Seniors Caregiver Awards event on May 22nd. The event took place at the Hilton Greenville, and was hosted by All About Seniors and produced by Striped Rock senior network, marketing and media solutions.

"Holley exemplifies what it means to be a Home Care Assistance caregiver. The overwhelming feedback we receive from our clients and their families highlight the compassion that Holley brings into their households every day," said Scott Brann, owner of Home Care Assistance of South Carolina. "Holley is simply a model caregiver and a model employee. Home Care Assistance and our clients are very fortunate to have her."

Home Care Assistance provides hourly and live-in services to seniors, allowing them to remain safely and comfortably in their homes as they age. Staff is available 24/7 to provide experienced, trustworthy caregivers to help with all home care needs. Home Care Assistance's Client Care Coordinator accepts approximately one out of every 25 caregiver applicants. Background checks, reference checks and work authorization are all completed along with a proprietary Caregiver Personality Screening test. The screening test is used to verify applicants' suitability for the caregiving career by assessing traits such as honesty, kindness and conscientiousness. Katy approaches each client as if he or she were her own parent and spends time matching the client with the best-qualified caregiver for his or her needs and personality.

Though 89% of seniors say they would prefer to keep living at home rather than move to a facility, thousands continue to enter nursing homes every year. With the support of a professionally trained caregiver, older adults can age safely and comfortably in their own homes.
