Unishippers Global Logistics Reports Record Monthly Revenue of $41.2 Million in June

Revenue up 1.5 Percent from Record Breaking March, 2014

"The first quarter of this year was filled with many notable accomplishments. We had nothing but high expectations for our second quarter," said Kevin Lathrop, President of Unishippers. "Not only did we break a company revenue record the last two quarters, but we've continued to aggressively build our franchise system having recently welcomed twelve new franchisees to the Unishippers family in the first half of the year."

Specifically, the company increased revenue for the UPS small package business by 12.5 percent, increased sales for the full truckload product by 19.1 percent and increased overall freight revenue by 12.8 percent compared with June of 2013.

"Our sales these last two quarters are a noteworthy testament to what our franchise system can do when we focus on our complete suite of services," said Lathrop. "We are accelerating toward our goal of 20 percent in annual growth and $1 billion in revenue and we are currently on track to end 2014 in excess of $425 million in revenue. In an effort to reach our objectives, franchisees intend to reach their own goals by hiring more Shipping Consultants. The system intends to add more than 100 new Shipping Consultants throughout the country by year's end."
