United Country Team Members Attend CLA Game Fair in Oxfordshire, England

Company Brings American Lifestyle Property to Europe

July 29, 2014 // Franchising.com // KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Team members of United Country – the nation’s largest lifestyle1 real estate company – attended the Country Land Association Game Fair in Oxfordshire, England July 18 through 20. The CLA – which features the finest wares and purveyors for the hunting, fishing and land industries – is a highly attended event for United Kingdom and Western European land investors.

This event allowed United Country to bring its vast inventory of North American lifestyle properties to land buyers and investors overseas. The team produced a custom, high quality catalog to distribute to attendees and found the conference to be an excellent opportunity for both real estate sales and potential expansion of its international network.

"The CLA Game Fair is a great venue for us to continue to showcase our rural properties worldwide," said Dan Duffy, chairman and chief executive officer of United Country Real Estate. "We showcased a select sampling of rural real estate properties to investors in the United Kingdom and were thrilled with the reception as well as strides made to formalize strategic relations there. We see the U.K. as a strategic locale to promote investment in U.S. rural real estate and look forward to advances toward that end."

"We believe it is vital to represent our clients at events of this nature," said Barton Miller, managing broker of Mason & Morse Ranch Company. "We were pleased to show an excellent lineup of U.S. properties to the CLA attendees along with our franchise partner United Country Real Estate. The event drew hundreds of thousands of attendees and featured the finest wing shooting guns, dog trials, fly fishing accessories along with equestrian events and equipment. Events such as these provide outstanding land and real estate opportunities and services, and we were happy to share our offerings with the CLA crowd."

The CLA Game Fair and similar events provide a great opportunity for real estate firms to introduce and share details about U.S. agricultural and sporting properties. Open Fences Media, a provider of print and digital media for Rural U.S. luxury real estate, provided support for the U.S. contingent exhibiting at the fair. United Country Real Estate has integrated services both nationally and internationally.

"This trip was not just fun, but it opened up some amazing international business opportunities for my office," said Louise Regenstein, Realtor with United Country – Gateway Realty & Auction based in Atchison, Kan. "It’s opportunities like this that United Country can really open up for serious real estate professionals."
