Luby's, Inc. Reopens Fuddruckers Fast Casual Restaurant Location In Lake Jackson, Texas

New And Improved Site Showcases Substantial Upgrades

August 26, 2014 // Franchising.com // LAKE JACKSON, TX – Luby's, Inc. has reopened a former Fuddruckers franchise location in Lake Jackson, Texas under company ownership. The 6,400-square-foot fast casual restaurant, which has been closed since March 2014, welcomed delighted customers today with substantial design, decor and systems enhancements that align it with the company's newest venues.

The reveal of the site at 206 Highway 332 W. near the intersection of Nolan Ryan Expressway (Highway 288) also signaled the return of elements that differentiate this Fuddruckers from typical locations. The 220-seat space features a private party room, a game room and a sports-oriented media area with five, oversized monitors. A terrace provides outdoor seating for 12.

According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer of Luby's, Inc., "We are thrilled to be back in Lake Jackson with a product that now represents the best of the Fuddruckers brand in terms of food, ambience and service. We look forward to welcoming back regulars and introducing new customers to the World's Greatest Hamburgers."

A showcase for Fuddruckers' dynamic, new interior scheme, the restaurant pays homage to the chain's signature, roadhouse look, while catering to today's more sophisticated tastes. The kitchen was also opened to create an exhibition environment. The resulting ambience is ideal for a family outing, business lunch or a date night.

Grilled-to-order burgers feature always fresh and never frozen, 100% USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives.
