ALS Insights Launched as Web Resource of Interviews and Information

Qualicare Family Homecare announces an important new resource for families who are dealing with the diagnosis of ALS for a loved one.

Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 - ALS Insights is a dedicated website created by Qualicare to provide information, optimism and comfort. It features a series of compelling interviews with people who have been directly impacted by ALS. They share their insights, in searing honesty, about issues such as acceptance vs. denial of the diagnosis, the impact on children, what happened in the final days and how the families survived ALS. The Ice Bucket Challenge has created a dramatic increase in public awareness and financial support for ALS. But ALS families have much more to deal with. Much more. ALS Insights has been created to help them. And for everyone else, it provides an opportunity to delve deeper into the emotional and physical challenges families deal with in the fight against ALS.

In addition to hearing stories from people living with ALS and their families, ALS Insights features a series of interviews with a group of medical professionals who describe their compassionate approach to ALS care and the impact ALS patients have had on them. The net effect of these interviews is to reassure ALS families that they are not alone and the medical resources available will be of tremendous help.
