MRINetwork to Hire Hundreds of Recruiters Globally

September 03, 2014 // Franchising.com // Philadelphia, PA - MRINetwork®, one of the largest executive search and recruitment organizations in the world, announced that it plans to hire several hundred new recruiters worldwide, over the next six months, to take advantage of industry growth which Staffing Industry Analysts projects will increase globally by 5 percent this year. This growth is partially fueled by the tightening of the candidate market among the ranks of executives and professionals – the sector in which MRINetwork specializes – where the unemployment rate is now 3.5 percent, down from 4.2 percent at this time last year.

"During the past year, the competition for top talent in our space has been heating up significantly," observes John McDonald, president of MRINetwork. "Our clients seek a greater number of new candidates and we must respond by adding recruiters to meet their demands."

The organization's training and certification programs are a draw for experienced professionals looking to make a career change. "Most of our recruiters have had successful careers in specific industry niches and use that background to launch into the search business," says McDonald. "They have the industry knowledge, and we provide the training they need to be successful in this business. For our more senior recruiters, we provide them with the opportunity to participate in our Certified Professional Programs to help them achieve and maintain professional leadership goals, and outperform competitors."

The push for MRINetwork to dramatically increase its recruiter workforce is prompted by growing demand across a wide range of industries, from clients who are creating new positions and top grading others to increase market share. "There's also concern among employers about the rising rate of attrition, which is leaving companies shorthanded at a time when their business is picking up," says McDonald. "This trend will continue into the foreseeable future as Baby Boomers who postponed retirement begin to feel more confident about leaving their jobs, and employed professionals respond to increased mobility in the workplace."
