Home Care Assistance Partners with the Vi

At Highlands Ranch, Legacy Hospice and the 50 & Better Together Senior Outreach of Highlands Ranch to Host an Educational Series

Castle Rock, CO (PRWEB) September 05, 2014 - Home Care Assistance of Douglas County, a leading provider of in-home care for seniors, is dedicated to partnering with other community members in an effort to increase awareness around longevity and aging. In line with this commitment to community education and the company’s expertise in quality dementia care, Home Care Assistance of Douglas County is partnering with representatives from the Vi at Highlands Ranch, Legacy Hospice and the 50 & Better Together Senior Outreach of Highlands Ranch to host a free, three-part public workshop on Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The series, "Who Is That in the Mirror?" will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on September 6th, October 4th and November 1st. The first presentation, held at the Westridge Recreation Center, will focus on understanding the progression of dementia, the second presentation, held at the Highlands Ranch Library, will cover practical tips maintain connection and engagement and the last presentation, held at the Westridge Recreation Center, will cover community resources to help along the way. Lunch will be provided.
