AlignLife Lafayette Understands Hunger Happens Year Around

An early Thanksgiving brings food to those in need thanks to a natural health care center.

Lafayette, In (PRWEB) September 11, 2014 - A local health care facility decided not to wait until the holidays to help stock the local food pantry. The patients and new patients of the AlignLife Natural Health Care Center donated more than 150 food items to the Lafayette Urban Ministry Food Pantry "Oftentimes we think of those in need around the holidays," Dr. Taylor Clifford said. "When, in reality, hunger is an issue all year long. This was a something we felt we could do to show we care about this community." Each year AlignLife clinics nationwide host two charity drives a year, some clinics host three. Every July a Food Drive is hosted in the clinics and each December a Toy Drive is hosted. Many clinics will also host a Coat Drive in early fall. AlignLife believes in supporting each community it is present in by not only hosting these drives, also hosting multiple free workshops each year to help educate the community on their natural health care options.
