Right at Home Continues International Growth with New Master Franchise Partner: The Netherlands

Elderly Expected to Reach 21.6% of Country's Population in 2025; Shows Increased Demand in Home Care Market

OMAHA, NE (PRWEB) September 11, 2014 - Right at Home, a leading in-home care franchise, continues to position itself at the forefront of the in-home care industry in 2014 by strengthening its international presence through further expansion into the European market, partnering with a new Master Franchisee in The Netherlands. Now entering its ninth country, Right at Home has consistently proven its innovative, economy boosting model to be successful globally, as evidenced by the achievements of its rapidly expanding network. Right at Home's international progress has been driven by outstanding partnerships, such as that formed with Peter van de Burgt, the Master Franchise owner in The Netherlands.

"We are looking forward to serving the elderly and disabled adults in The Netherlands and are very excited to have Peter van de Burgt launch our expansion in the market," said Blake Martin, VP of International Operations for Right at Home. "With the number of the elderly continuing to increase steadily over the next 30 years, we will continue to see a growing need for in-home caregiving services in the market."

By 2050, more than 4.43 million elderly will be over the age of 65 in The Netherlands; nearly a quarter of the population, 24.8 percent, will be in need of care. To address this need, Right at Home plans to add units across the country, with a core focus on developing in major cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague.

While operating his Right at Home Master Franchise, van de Burgt will draw on his professional experiences in the financial and home care fields. He believes the home care market in The Netherlands is changing and has decided to partner with Right at Home to capitalize on the evolving Dutch home care market by implementing Right at Home's proven business model. Van de Burgt is passionate about building his own company and is committed to upholding Right at Home's quality brand, business approach and dedication to serving seniors and disabled adults.

In addition to serving his community through providing home care, van de Burgt also serves his community in the realm of sports. He served as a Director on the Board of the Royal Dutch Skating Union (KNSB) and as Chairman of the Financial Committee of the Dutch Olympic Committee (NOC*NSF).

"Homecare is all about people," van de Burgt explains. "It's not difficult to provide [the actual] homecare services, but it is difficult to do so in a meaningful way while truly making a difference in the quality of life of our ageing and disabled loved ones. Right at Home understands that. Right at Home Netherlands plans to open its pilot office near the end of 2014.

Right at Home's stellar reputation and the growing need for in-home senior care have been the driving forces behind the company's impressive expansion in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, China, Canada, Ireland, Australia, Japan, and now The Netherlands.
