On The Border Celebrates Mexico's Independence Day with Free Queso

World's Largest Casual Dining Mexican Concept offers Free Cup of Queso, Drink Specials (*), Great Times on September 16

September 15, 2014 // Franchising.com // DALLAS, TEXAS - With free chips and salsa every day, its' always a celebration at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina®. On The Border wanted to do a little more for its guests on Mexico's Independence Day.

So, on Tuesday, September 16, guests at OTB will enjoy a cup of the restaurant's signature Original Queso, featuring fresh-chopped jalapeno, tomato, onion, poblano & cilantro, normally up to a $4.99 value, for FREE. Guests may choose to kick it up "Carne Style" by adding seasoned ground beef for only a buck. In addition to free Queso, OTB will feature $3 House Margaritas and $3 Lunazul® shots on September 16.

"We are looking forward to celebrating Mexico's Independence Day at On The Border and are excited to let our guests sample the Original Queso for free, one of our most craveable items," said Ward Whitworth, President of On The Border. "With free queso and $3 house 'ritas, it simply doesn't make sense to celebrate anywhere else but OTB on Tuesday."

September 16 is Mexico's Independence Day, a nationwide public holiday to celebrate that country's freedom from Spanish rule. Please call your local On The Border for full details.
