101 Mobility of Long Island appearing on NBC's George to the Rescue this Saturday!

Be sure to catch 101 Mobility of Long Island on latest episode of NBC’s George to the Rescue.

Floral Park, NY (PRWEB) September 17, 2014 - This past June, John Michiellini, owner of 101 Mobility of Long Island, and a handful of Nassau County business leaders teamed up with George Oliphant of NBC’s George to the Rescue. Their mission: to help a local wheelchair-bound woman independently access her garden and driveway. On Saturday evening, all involved parties will finally get the chance to see their hard work come to life!

NBC’s George to the Rescue, 101 Mobility of Long Island, Old World Quality Corporation, Bruno Independent Living Aids, and Ireland-Gannon Associates will all be featured in Saturday’s episode which documents the renovation and big reveal of the Klein family project. The show will air at 7:00 PM on WNBC NY.

"Creating independent outdoor access for Mrs. Klein was a wonderful experience and the family was just thrilled. ‘I’ll meet you at the car’ is now one of Mrs. Klein’s favorite phrases. She’s really enjoying her independence," said John. "The Bruno 3153 Outdoor Wheelchair Lift we installed was the perfect choice for this project and the team over at Bruno Independent Living Aids really stepped up to the plate by donating $1,000.00 toward the cost of the lift. The 101 Mobility corporate office also stepped in with a $1,000.00 donation, and 101 Mobility of Long Island was more than happy to cover the remaining $1,300.00 in lift costs as well as the time and labor to install the unit for Mrs. Klein."

In addition to outfitting homes for wheelchair accessibility, John and his professional technical team also work closely with surrounding communities to improve public accessibility and provide individuals with rental solutions for their short term accessibility and mobility needs.
