October 1 Free Expo Seeks Local Entrepreneurs in Recovering Economy

CHICAGO - Sept. 25, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Several top national franchisors looking to expand in Chicagoland and surrounding markets will be on hand to discuss the questions, answers and opportunities of business ownership during a "Meet the Franchisor" expo hosted by FranNet.

FranNet, one of the country's leading franchise consultant firms, will host the event along with local SCORE advisors and financial advisors. Individuals will also be able to meet with specific franchisors at a mini-trade show following the event.

Topics of discussion at the expo will include leveraging successful business models, launching a recession-resistant business, building a financial future, and enjoying career independence.

"People in Chicago are worried about the stability of their careers and uncertain about the future," said John McLellan, owner of the FranNet Chicago offices. As the economy continues to recover, franchise business growth has outpaced non-franchised business growth by about 14% through the recession, according to the Small Business Administration (SBA).
