Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom Celebrates National Pizza Month with Savory and Satisfying Guest Promotion

Restaurant Treats Guests to Buy-Three-Get-One-Free Offer

September 30, 2014 // Franchising.com // BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, a traditional casual dining restaurant known for its delicious, handmade pizza and craft beers, announced today its celebration plans for National Pizza Month in October. Old Chicago is giving guests an opportunity to tempt their taste buds with a variety of specialty pizzas. Throughout October, guests will receive a pizza punch card and those who try three specialty pizzas will get the fourth specialty pizza free.

Old Chicago serves its made-from-scratch pizza in locations nationwide and offers two crust types that are both made in-house every day - Chicago Thick, a buttery hand-tossed cornmeal crust, served in the pan and Tavern Thin, which has a light and crispy texture and is served square-cut. Loaded with a variety of mouthwatering toppings, every pizza is made to order. Some of the most popular specialty pizza selections include:

  • Chicago 7 Pizza – Pepperoni, Italian sausage, red onions, black olives, green peppers, sliced mushrooms and signature house pizza sauce.
  • Meat Me Pizza – Loaded with four premium meaty toppings and garnished with green olives and fresh basil.
  • Thai Pie – Roasted chicken, mushrooms, red peppers, broccoli and Thai chili sauce, topped with green onions, teriyaki, sesame seeds, mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Tuscan Chicken with Spinach – Lemon garlic sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, applewood spiced chicken, bruschetta tomatoes and roasted garlic, then topped with fresh spinach tossed in lemon vinaigrette.

Guests can enjoy this promotion all month long with no limit on how many times they try the 15 specialty pizzas Old Chicago offers. For every three they purchase during October, the fourth is free. As an added bonus, Old Chicago is holding a vote for guests to select their favorite pizza from the past. The pizza with the most votes will be featured in the I Love Craft Beer Mini Tour 2015. To vote, guests can text "Survey Pizza-Vote" to 88202.

"We're really excited to give our guests the opportunity to try a handful of our specialty pizzas during National Pizza Month," said Mike Mrlik, president of Old Chicago. "We pride ourselves on our fresh ingredients, unique flavors and expansive variety. With this special promotion, we invite guests to try as many selections as they'd like all month long."
