Maui Wowi Ushers in Tennessee Expansion with Store Grand Opening Celebration

Maui Wowi Hawaiian, coffee and smoothie retailer, invites local community to celebrate the grand opening of the new store in Franklin, Tennessee, with family fun entertainment, prizes, and giveaways.

October 01, 2014 // Franchising.com // Greenwood Village, Colo. - Maui Wowi Hawaiian is hosting a luau style grand opening celebration at the new store in Franklin, Tennessee, located just outside Nashville. Local Franchise Owner Eric Rilko and his wife Holley opened their doors to their Hawaiian coffee and smoothie shop last month. On October 4th, they invite the public to join them for a fun, family friendly celebration.

The Grand Opening will feature an official ribbon cutting ceremony, giveaways, games and lots of free samples. Family fun entertainment will also include a balloon artist, face painting and professional hula dancers. To show their appreciation to the community, a raffle will be held for the chance to win one of two grand prizes; a free Tiki size smoothie for a year, or one gift card per month for an entire year, in the amount of $100, valid only at the Franklin location.

"We wanted to go big!" said Rilko. "This is our chance to show the community what Maui Wowi has to offer by sharing with them our amazing products, fun atmosphere, and of course the Aloha Spirit."

That Aloha Spirit can also be seen in the Rilko’s efforts to incorporate a local organization into their celebration. They will be donating 10% of all sales from October 4-11 to benefit the Hopes Development Center,a non-profit organization serving children and families of Middle Tennessee. The center provides a specialized environment for children to learn.

During the Grand Opening, which will take place from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, representatives from the Maui Wowi Mainland Headquarters will be onsite giving informational sessions for those interested in learning more about the franchise concept. The seminars will be given at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
