Grand Opening For New Goddard School In Long Meadow Farms, Texas

The Goddard School Holds Grand Opening Celebration on October 11

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - Oct. 1, 2014 // PRNewswire // - Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI), the franchisor of The Goddard School® preschool system, announced today its newest school is opening in Long Meadow Farms, Texas. Located at 21024 West Bellfort Street in Richmond, the new school is owned by husband and wife team Samir and Tamkeen Shroff. In honor of the Houston area school's opening, the community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 11.

"My husband and I have always been passionate about education," said Tamkeen Shroff, co-owner of The Goddard School. "Our three young children have inspired us to share our passion with the local community and provide a high quality of education that will contribute to the growth and development of other children in our area."

The grand opening festivities at The Goddard School located in Long Meadow Farms will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 11. In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony, families will enjoy rides, face painting, a balloon artist and other fall activities and crafts. Families who enroll during this event will receive free registration for children.

Prior to becoming a Goddard School franchisee, Tamkeen spent 12 years in the education field as a secondary school administrator and teacher. This is the first joint business venture for Tamkeen and her husband Samir. The two have assembled a team of directors to provide excellence throughout the school, including Annmarie George as operations director and manager of health and safety and Myra Hardwick as curriculum specialist.

The Shroffs are very involved in the community and have actively volunteered in Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth during the past 20 years with organizations including the Social Safety Net, Aga Khan Foundation and the Education Board for the Ismaili Centers. They've also worked with local seniors to find resources and services that help them maintain their independence and social connection in their older age.

The Goddard School preschool system operates on a dual-management system, distinctive in the early childhood education industry.
