New Wireless Zone® Franchise Owners Find Success in Wisconsin

Two friends, and first time business owners, open successful Wireless Zone® franchise in Portage

October 20, 2014 // Franchising.com // PORTAGE, Wis. – Wireless Zone®, the nation's largest Verizon Wireless retail franchisor, is celebrating the success of new franchise owners Matthew Williams and Eric Reynolds and their new store in Portage, Wisconsin. Already making a name for themselves in the industry and Portage community, Williams and Reynolds are achieving record-breaking numbers in their first five months of business.

"Being able to open a Wireless Zone store in Portage and have incredible success in the first few months has been a very rewarding experience," said Williams. "We have worked extremely hard to build a strong foundation, and the local community has been very supportive of the new store."

Williams and Reynolds are currently leading Wireless Zone's Madison, Wisconsin area in new customer line activations for independently owned stores, and are one of the top Wireless Zone franchisees in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Northern Illinois market.

Williams and Reynolds are also focused on the local community. They have joined the Portage Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as, joined additional local business organizations and charity groups, including hosting several local charity events themselves.

"Delving into community events has definitely had a positive impact on our business," continued Reynolds. "Other business owners see our passion for this community and we get their business in return."

Williams and Reynolds met in college and were roommates while attending Morehead State University in Kentucky. Both have enjoyed moving to Portage, and are looking forward to all the future has to offer.

"Moving to Portage has been a great experience," continues Williams. "The people of Portage have been great, and they even remind me of people back home in Kentucky, but with a different accent."
