Mark Liberatore Embraces Small Business Ownership as Encore Career

Bernardston, MA (PRWEB) October 21, 2014 - Mark Liberatore is looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life focused on serving seniors and families with his new business, Caring Transitions of the Central Connecticut River Valley.

Caring Transitions is America's largest resource specializing in managing senior relocations, downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site and online estate sales, preparing homes for market and more. Caring Transitions of the Central Connecticut River Valley serves Brattleboro, Vermont; Keene, New Hampshire; and Greenfield, Northampton, Amherst and Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Liberatore decided it was time to open his own business after experiencing one too many corporate layoffs. His background includes a career in graphic arts and print production, software technical sales and service, and software implementation management.

"Owning my own business has always been on my mind. I had good success with small endeavors over the years, but never had an idea that seemed to fill a meaningful and lasting need. After my most recent downsizing, I was finding it difficult to choose a company I really wanted to work for. Everything in the corporate world felt like a compromise. I wanted what I do to matter to people, and I wanted to do something local," Liberatore said.

Although he knew he wanted his own business, Liberatore was attracted to franchising because the model provides a strong corporate foundation. Caring Transitionsrose to the top of Liberatore's research because of his own experiences.

"I dealt with final stages of cancer with both my mother and step father, then the equally slow and painful march of Alzheimer's with my dad, I understand the need addressed by Caring Transitions. The stress each of these events put on me, my job and my family was something akin to a battlefield experience – three separate times. To have found some kind support during those times would have offered immeasurable relief. This is a meaningful business idea. So here I am. Ready to serve others going through similar experiences," Liberatore said.

In addition to the physical services Caring Transitions provides, each Caring Transitions franchisee is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. The company is trained, bonded and insured. All employees are corporately trained and background checked. This new franchise will bring several new jobs to the area as the business grows.

Caring Transitions is a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 150 locations across the United States. Caring Transitions is part of the International Franchise Association, the Small Business Association's Franchise Registry, VetFran and Minority Fran.
