Global Franchise Group Names Andrew Kmiec Vice President Of Real Estate

November 11, 2014 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Global Franchise Group (GFG), LLC, the strategic brand management company and franchisor behind Great American Cookies®, Pretzelmaker®, Marble Slab Creamery®, MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery® and Hot Dog on a Stick™, has hired Andrew Kmiec to serve as Vice President of Real Estate. Kmiec will be responsible for directing GFG's real estate team in the areas of strategic site selection, lease negotiation and store design for franchisees and corporate owned locations.

Before coming to GFG, Kmiec was Associate Vice President, Real Estate at Focus Brands, Inc., the company that owns and operates Auntie Anne's, Inc., Cinnabon and Moe's Southwest Grill. In the position, Kmiec led a real estate committee that reviewed opportunities for property leases and franchise development expansion. He has 15 years of experience in real estate and operations.

"Andrew has immense knowledge and experience in identifying new business markets, site-driven franchise sales and leasing negotiations, which made him an ideal candidate for GFG's Vice President of Real Estate position," said Chris Dull, CEO and President of Global Franchise Group. Kmiec holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. He resides in Lancaster County, Pa.
