Award-winning Fast Casual Concept Celebrates with "For the Love of Shrimp" Sweepstakes to Win a Trip for Two to New Orleans 

February 09, 2015 // Franchising.com // ALPHARETTA, Ga. - McAlister's® Deli, a leading fast casual chain, announced today the return of its popular New Orleans-inspired Cajun Shrimp for a limited time through April 2, 2015. To celebrate the return of one of guests' favorite menu items, McAlister's has launched the "For the Love of Shrimp" sweepstakes where one lucky fan will win a trip for two to New Orleans.

McAlister's Cajun Shrimp Po Boy features Creole-seasoned shrimp laid over a crunchy baguette with lettuce, tomatoes, coleslaw and creamy remoulade sauce. Customers also can order McAlister's Cajun Shrimp tossed with Romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing, which can be served as either a wrap or salad.

"Our Cajun Shrimp has become one of our most popular seasonal menu items since it first appeared on our menu two years ago," said Vice President of Global Marketing Donna Josephson. "Guests love getting a taste of the iconic flavors of New Orleans right in their hometowns — so much so that our restaurants continuously get requests to add Shrimp to other menu items.
