February 10, 2015 // Franchising.com // CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sky Zone Trampoline Park is opening its doors in Cedar Rapids to offer a thrilling experience for the whole family atop a court of connecting trampolines. Beginning on February 13th, Sky Zone Cedar Rapids owners and lifelong locals Dave and Jennifer Austin welcome residents to hop into the brand new Sky Zone to check out the wildly popular activity that has the whole country bouncing off the walls. Specializing in Active Fun, the creator of the world's first indoor trampoline park has a variety of gravity defying activities that will get people of all ages jumping for joy.

Sky Zone's all-walled trampoline courts are designed as a fun and fit outing for all ages, shapes and sizes. The innovative trampoline park offers a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy including Open Jump, allowing guests to leap, bound and soar and Ultimate Dodgeball, a friendly and healthy dodgeball competition. In addition, Sky Slam gives everyone the opportunity to slam dunk a basketball on the trampolines. Fitness fiends can feel the burn at Sky Zone's original SkyFit workout class, which combines advanced calisthenics with a three-dimensional cardio and strength training program. Freestyle flyers can also practice their moves as they soar into the giant Foam Zone, and refuel with refreshing drinks and delicious snacks from the Fuel Zone. This brand new park is the ideal venue for groups seeking unforgettable events such as birthday parties, corporate team building, fundraisers, field trips and much more.

"My wife and I have lived in the Corridor our whole lives, so it's very exciting for us to bring this concept and over 70 jobs back to Cedar Rapids, the birthplace of the modern day trampoline," said Dave Austin, owner of Sky Zone Cedar Rapids. "We've been working on this project for two years now and we're looking forward to inspiring healthy, family-friendly Active Fun in our community."

The new Sky Zone Trampoline Park will be hosting a special three-day Grand Opening event from February 13th-15th, and offering one-hour jump passes at the reduced rate of $10 during that time. SkySocks will be discounted to $1 during the Grand Opening weekend, and fun prizes will also be given away including shirts, hats, free passes, gift cards from local retailers, one Jump Around Party Package valued up to $229 per day, and more.
