Massage Envy Spa Expands Footprint In Philadelphia & Pittsburgh

Nation's Largest Massage Therapy Franchise Signs Seven Franchise Agreements and Opens Five Additional Clinics in Pennsylvania

February 17, 2015 // Franchising.com // SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Massage Envy Spa, the pioneer and national leader of professional, convenient and affordable massage and spa services, today announced significant growth in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh markets. The brand recently opened five new locations in these areas, one of which marked the brand's 1,000th clinic, and signed seven franchise agreements to date for new clinics to open this year. To keep the growth momentum going, in addition to Philadelphia, Massage Envy Spa is targeting other Pennsylvania markets for expansion including: Greensburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster and Murraysville.

Massage Envy Spa multi-unit franchisee Ingar Lesheim currently owns two clinics in Monroeville and Robinson, with a third scheduled to open later this year in McCandless. Lesheim's locations join the seven other clinics in the Pittsburgh region. Lesheim has been a franchisee since 2012.
