Local Franchise Plato's Closet Scarborough Offers Employment Opportunities to Target Employees

SCARBOROUGH, ON, Feb. 19, 2015 /CNW/ - Management of Plato's Closet Scarborough targets Target employees for potential job placements.

Plato's Closet Scarborough is scheduled for "Open to Buy" in early March, and has reached out to local Target employees offering the opportunity to apply for available positions. The 3600 square foot Plato's Closet store at Brimley and Eglinton will require 12 to 16 employees, including Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers by the time it reaches its grand opening, slated for early May. Plato's Closet Scarborough buys and sells high quality, gently used apparel and accessories for cash. This provides 12-24 year olds with access to hot new trends at discounted prices.

"It was a natural choice," says General Manager Stephanie van Dam. "When one door closes another one opens, and for us that means fully trained staff that are looking for work through no fault of their own. If we can offer employment to some of Target's ex-employees, we would be happy to do so. We are very excited to bring a new retail service and new jobs to the Scarborough market."
