Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Del Mar Location

Owners Celebrate With Fundraiser for DMSEF

March 03, 2015 // Franchising.com // Del Mar, CA - Jersey Mike's Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Del Mar on February 25. Franchise owners Cathy and Mike Brown held a grand opening fundraiser from Wednesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 1 to support the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF).

The new restaurant, located at 2626 Del Mar Heights Road, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to DMSEF. There will also be special flyers distributed to the community schools, each containing various offers. For each school flyer coupon redeemed, Jersey Mike's will make a $3 donation to DMSEF.

"We are excited to be opening a Jersey Mike's store in our own community and to support the local schools during our grand opening fundraiser,"said Cathy. "Having lived in the area for nearly 30 years we feel a special local connection and look forward to being a positive asset to the Del Mar & Carmel Valley area for many years to come."

Cathy and Mike Brown have been residents of the Del Mar area since 1987, and their three children attended local schools.
