TGA Premier Youth Tennis Ranked Among Top New Franchises

Youth sports business model in partnership with the USTA off to a fast start.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2015 - Entrepreneur Magazine has recognized TGA Premier Youth Tennis (TGA) among its Top New Franchises in 2015.

Entrepreneur's 2015 Top New Franchises list, which appears in the March 2015 issue, recognizes the top 75 new franchise companies. Editors compiled the list from the publications 2015 Franchise 500 selections by analyzing companies that have been franchising for the last five years (since 2010).

“TGA’s tennis business has been our fastest growing youth sports franchise model over its first three years. To be recognized by Entrepreneur and listed among the top 75 new franchises is a testament to our partnership with the USTA, and our school based youth sports infrastructure,” Joshua Jacobs, CEO of TGA said.

“Our model puts tennis on the menu for every student age 5-13 at their schools, which increases tennis participation and creates a self-sustaining tennis ecosystem within a geographic area. It empowers USTA Sections, tennis professionals and entrepreneurs to activate thousands of youth in their area, which has the ability to change the landscape of growing this sport in the future.”

TGA (Teach-Grow-Achieve) pioneered its school-based youth sports franchise model in partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and began offering its innovative Premier Youth tennis franchises in 2012. The company has grown to 28 chapters across the nation serving more than 450 schools and introducing 26,000 youth (ages 5-13) to the sport.

TGA makes tennis accessible to youth and families through an instruction-based enrichment program for elementary students, and a play-based program for middle school students. Its specialized curriculum, which was also developed with the USTA, focuses on instilling a passion for tennis while promoting advancement, achievement, STEM, core academics and the attainment of life skills on and off the court.

Entrepreneur Magazine previously named TGA franchises among the Franchise 500 and a “Top 10 Franchise Value” based on total startup costs. In addition, the publication has ranked TGA among the top children’s fitness, low-cost and home-based franchises the last few years.
