Express Employment Professionals Donates $75,000 to Nonprofits across the U.S.

(PRWEB) March 27, 2015 - OKLAHOMA CITY, March 27, 2015 – Express Employment Professionals, the nation’s largest franchised staffing company, along with its franchise locations in Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio, Colorado and Tennessee, is donating $75,000 to seven different nonprofits.

The donation is part of The Impact Project, an initiative of the company’s philanthropic committee designed to give back to nonprofits nominated by franchisees among their 725 franchise locations.

“We pride ourselves on having a culture built on giving and service at Express,” said Bob Funk, CEO and chairman of the board of Express Employment Professionals. “With that in mind, we know how important it is to support the communities where we work, serve and live. The commitment that these franchisees have shown to these organizations is a great example of that support.”

Operation Come Home, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization in Michigan that provides food, shelter, guidance and life-saving services for veterans and their families, was the grand prize winner, receiving a $25,000 donation. As part of this donation, Rochester Hills and Troy, Michigan Express franchisee Paul LaFrance will match the donation with another $25,000 donation to help with funding for the new housing complex.

“I’m honored to be a part of a company that believes so strongly in giving back to the communities where we live,” LaFrance said. “This money is going to help so many veterans in the southeast Michigan area get the help they need to rebuild their lives with support, counseling and career training.”
