Rebounderz Signs its First International Arenas

Indoor Family Fun and Fitness Center Continues Rapid Growth with Multi-Unit Deal

April 08, 2015 // Franchising.com // SANFORD, Fla. – Rebounderz Franchise and Development, the franchisors of Rebounderz Indoor Trampoline Arena, inked a multi-unit international deal for Rebounderz arenas in Panama with Trampoline Unitedos.

Trampoline Unitedos will open Panama’s first Rebounderz Indoor Trampoline Arena – and the first Rebounderz arena outside the U.S. – in late fall 2015 at the Sortis Hotel Spa and Casino at Calle 56 y 57, Obarrio in Panama City. This is the first trampoline arena of its kind in the area and will create 40-60 local full- and part-time jobs.

Rebounderz representatives expect the new indoor trampoline arena to quickly become a popular entertainment venue for Sortis Hotel guests as well as local residents as it is an exceptional choice for fun and intense individual and group exercise. The family-friendly hotel already includes a rooftop pool, fitness center and arcade.

The Panama City Rebounderz will be the company’s 11th arena. Other locations with Rebounderz arenas include California, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia. The company plans to open new arenas in North Carolina and New York in 2015.

The new arena will feature a Combination Jumper with 72 beds, 4-lane Foam Pit, 3-lane Basketball Slam, wireless café, fitness classes, basketball courts, an extensive arcade and a toddler park with Jump Pillows. Rebounderz also offers six themed party rooms for birthday parties and corporate events with the option of booking private jump areas.

In the U.S., indoor trampoline arenas are a top choice for birthday parties, dodgeball and active social outings for small and large groups, including team-building and corporate events. It is a rapid growing business model. In 2008, there were only five trampoline arenas. Today, despite the recession, there are more than 200 indoor trampoline arenas. The industry has grown from about $12 million to $680 million.
