JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Names Retired Colonel Keith Seiwell to VP of Business Development

United States Marine Corps Veteran Joins Nation’s Only U.S. Military Veteran Brand

BERWYN, Pa. - May 21, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - JDog Junk Removal & Hauling, a rapidly growing company dedicated to increasing post-military career opportunities for veterans, has named retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel Keith Seiwell as its Vice President of Business Development. Seiwell joins the leadership team tasked with supporting overall growth and development of the brand.

“Colonel Seiwell brings valuable business experience and an understanding of the military ethos, which makes him the right person to strengthen JDog’s infrastructure and position us for continued development.”

Seiwell brings experience from more than 30 years of service with the Marine Corps, as well as knowledge from several years in business leadership roles. As Vice President of Business Development, Seiwell will ensure business growth by identifying new franchisees who fit the unique ethos of the JDog movement, as well as establishing successful relationships with existing franchisees.

“I fell in love with the whole idea of JDog – veteran owned and operated – and its mission to provide opportunities to the veteran community,” said Colonel Seiwell. “JDog Founder Jerry Flanagan understands that it’s not the major corporations that drive the economic train of the U.S., but the small and mid-sized businesses like JDog. I’m looking forward to supporting the growth of this exceptional operation.”

Most recently, Seiwell served as CEO of AZ Corporation in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he was responsible for organizing command and control of day-to-day business operations, strategic planning and business development. While under Seiwell’s leadership, AZ Corporation became a successful, profitable firm that won accolades as one of the best construction companies in Afghanistan. Most notably, Seiwell restarted the production of an idle water plant, which now produces 100,000 cases of bottled water each week for U.S. military forces.

“JDog is growing at a rapid pace,” said Jerry Flanagan, CEO and founder of JDog. “Colonel Seiwell brings valuable business experience and an understanding of the military ethos, which makes him the right person to strengthen JDog’s infrastructure and position us for continued development.”

Operating on the principles of respect, integrity and trust, JDog is the first company to build a national military veteran brand that can dominate the markets it enters. The business is based on the notion that when given the choice, the American public will always choose to support a veteran business. JDog provides a detailed operations plan to help franchisees get up and running quickly and profitably. As more veterans join the JDog movement, the collective value of the enterprise grows, benefiting all franchisees. Many franchise operators employ other veterans, helping military family members transition to civilian life. There are currently 13 JDog franchises across the U.S., with five more committed to opening throughout the year.
