In Home Personal Services sponsoring Walk to End Alzheimer's

May 28, 2015 // Franchising.com // In Home Personal Services is proud to be a sponsor of the Walk to End Alzheimer's in order to further the mission of the Alzheimer's Association, our corporate partner. Our caregivers attend to the daily needs of clients with this disease, so the Walk to End Alzheimer's offers a unique opportunity for our entire staff to become involved with raising awareness and funds. In Home Personal Services will start this initiative with a kick-off event at our corporate office and will conclude at the McHenry County Walk to End Alzheimer's. While there, we look forward to joining with participants of all ages and abilities and being an integral part of an event that more than 600 communities nationwide join together in honor of those affected by this disease.

Alzheimer's disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the U.S. and the only cause of death in the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or slowed. By setting aside a day to walk in the world's largest event benefiting Alzheimer's care, education, and research, In Home Personal Services hopes to play a role in changing those numbers. We recognize the importance of the education and support the Alzheimer's Association provides families as well as the work they are doing in advancing critical research studies.
