ServiceMaster Restore Golf Tour Has College Athletes and Amateurs Playing to Benefit Local Charities

MEMPHIS, TN - (Marketwired - June 09, 2015) - Some of the nation's best collegiate golfers will be paired with local golf enthusiasts in a unique tournament format that has raised over $2.2 million for local charities since its inception.

The 2015 ServiceMaster Restore Collegiate Players Tour, presented by State Farm, is an eight-city event that begins this month. The tour provides a venue for top collegiate men and women golfers to compete during the summer months. Local golfers can sign up to participate alongside the collegiate players, and all the proceeds from the local tournament are donated to local charities.

"This tour is a great way to create excellent summer competition for these aspiring young players and local amateurs, and it's a great way to raise funds for local charities," said Gary Bauer, chief operating officer for ServiceMaster Restore, a business unit of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SERV). "ServiceMaster Restore has been a sponsor for 10 years and we are honored to support the Collegiate Players Tour.

"Our services help home and business owners get back on their feet when the unexpected happens. We're thrilled to support many non-profit groups that have the same goal."

"We have always been about two things," said Barry Rodenhaver, executive director of the Tour said. "For the kids to compete and for them to develop confidence within themselves.

"Thanks to the sponsors who have supported us, the amount of positive momentum these events generate will continue to grow."

Local ServiceMaster Restore franchisees will coordinate the events, and work with local State Farm representatives to run the events in each location.
