Hurricane Grill & Wings® Opens Third Iowa Restaurant

Tropical-Themed Casual Dining Franchise Comes to West Des Moines

July 06, 2015 // Franchising.com // DES MOINES, Iowa – Hurricane Grill & Wings®, an island-inspired full-service restaurant franchise continues its nationwide expansion with a new location in West Des Moines. The family-friendly restaurant invites local residents to escape to a tropical paradise and Live with Flavor® where they can choose from a variety of sizzling wings, fresh salads and a wide range of mouth-watering entrees.

This will be the third location for franchisee Darin Beck, CEO and founder of Barmuda MMC, one of Iowa’s leading restaurant groups. With locations in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, he plans to open additional locations across the Midwest in the near future.

Hurricane Grill & Wings is known for its more than 35 signature flavors of award-winning, never frozen fresh jumbo wings. Flavors range from traditional buffalo sauces to an array of unique options that include Roasted Garlic Interno, Sea Salt & Vinegar and Honey Chipotle BBQ and can range in heat intensity from Calm Seas to Evacuation Route. Additionally, guests can customize their own burgers using the new Build-A-Burger menu feature, including a variety of savory toppings and delicious flavors. The location will also offer entrees such as seafood, salads and sandwiches which can be paired with sides like Garlic N’ Parm Fries, Crispy Sweet Potato Straws and Classic Coleslaw.

Hurricane Grill & Wings new West Des Moines restaurant features an indoor dining room that seats up to 210 people and an outdoor patio that seats 85. The location will also offer locally crafted Iowa beers brewed by Peach Tree Brewery, Exile Brewery, Backpocket Brewery and Millstream Brewery.
