Burger 21 To Celebrate Grand Re-Opening Of Davie, Fla., Restaurant July 20

Award-Winning Fast Casual Chain to Give Away Burger 21 Swag Bags to First 100 Guests on Opening Day 

July 20, 2015 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, Fla. – Burger 21®, an award-winning, “beyond the better burger” fast casual franchise, announces its restaurant in Davie, Fla., will re-open under new ownership Monday, July 20 at 2451 South University Drive. To celebrate, the fast casual franchise will give away Burger 21 swag bags to the first 100 guests on opening day. In addition, as part of the brand’s unique culture, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the restaurant’s proceeds to benefit the Zoological Society of Florida, the support organization for Zoo Miami, on Tuesday, July 21.

The Davie restaurant is now locally owned by new Burger 21 franchisees Marc Osheroff and Dr. Handre Hurwit. The entrepreneurs also plan to re-open the Fort Lauderdale restaurant located at 2949 N. Federal Highway before the end of 2015, in addition to opening two new locations in the South Florida market over the next several years.

“We couldn’t be happier to re-open the Burger 21 restaurant in Davie and be part of this great community once again,” said Osheroff. “The brand has already been well received in South Florida and is committed to being a positive contributor to the community. In addition to offering guests a variety of chef-inspired beef and non-beef burger creations, like the Tex-Mex Haystack, Spicy Thai Shrimp, Black Bean and Mediterranean Chicken, the Davie location will also offer fresh salads, hand-crafted shakes, a gluten-free menu, as well as craft beer and wine by the glass.

Highlights of Burger 21 Davie include:

• Nearly 35 former and new team members hired in Davie
• 2,913 square feet inside plus a 319-square-foot patio
• Seating for 102 customers inside the restaurant
• Outdoor seating for 34 on the patio

The restaurant will serve guests daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday – Saturday.
