Assisting Hands Sponsors Interfaith Concert to Benefit Local Food Banks

July 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // NAMPA, Idaho - Assisting Hands Home Care, an in-home franchise company, is sponsoring a free, Nampa concert where Marie Osmond will perform with the Nashville Tribute Band at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater Tuesday, July 21 at 8:00 p.m.

As one of several corporate sponsors for the event, Assisting Hands's CEO Lane Kofoed says the company wants to give back to the community where the franchise company is headquartered.

"Assisting Hands is based on care and compassion, so supporting this event was an easy decision," said Kofoed. "With more than 90 franchise locations across the U.S. and Canada, we encourage Assisting Hands Home Care owners to support events such as this one in their local communities."

The Nashville Tribute Band will perform its new album "Redeemer" at the concert. Kofoed, whose wife is helping coordinate the event, said that when Marie Osmond heard about the show, she reached out to the band asking if she could take the stage with them, and they agreed.

Concert organizers are partnering with the Nampa Nazarene Care House to benefit local food banks, and concert-goers are asked to bring nonperishable food donations. More than 10,000 are expected to attend the concert.

Tickets to the event are free, but attendees must still have tickets to enter. Tickets can be found online at comeevents.com.

About Assisting Hands Home Care

Assisting Hands Home Care began in 2005 and is based upon Dr. Gail Silverstein's behind-the-scenes knowledge of the healthcare industry coupled with her personal experience in helping her aging father at home. Dr. Silverstein created Assisting Hands and began franchising in 2006. Assisting Hands offers a comprehensive menu of services that includes non-medical companionship and personal care services, skilled nursing, and total care management, which fill the gap between living at home with dignity, and the need for institutionalized medical care. Single and multi-unit franchises are available, and franchisees may manage more than one franchise territory out of a single service office.
