Sky Zone Secures Waco Location for Indoor Trampoline Park

All-trampoline play experience coming to Waco Drive this year.

WACO, Texas - July 28, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - The ultimate 3-D play experience is coming to Waco! Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, the creator of the world’s first all-trampoline playing court, today announced a new franchise at 4809 W. Waco Drive, located east of Richland Mall next to Gym X.

“Sky Zone offers a high-energy fun and fitness experience for people of all ages and abilities,” said Andrew Aiken, co-owner of Sky Zone Waco. “Inside our court, we’ll have trampolines lining the floor and even on the walls. You can jump, play games and have a great time.”

Construction of the 19,100-square-foot facility will begin later this summer, with a projected opening in December. The Waco franchise will feature 12,000 square feet of trampolines, 3-D dodgeball, SkySlam basketball, a Foam Zone pit with more than 10,000 foam cubes, SkyRobics fitness classes, a Sky Café and party rooms.

In addition to open jump, Sky Zone will host special events, including birthday parties, dodgeball leagues, corporate events and sorority/fraternity functions.

“Sky Zone has built a reputation in other markets as ‘the best party ever,’ and we plan to make that a focus of our Waco business, too,” Aiken said. “For a birthday party, for example, we’ll have everything you need to celebrate big—food, cake, a private party room and access to all of our Sky Zone amenities.”

Once completed, the new Sky Zone Waco franchise will bring at least 70 new jobs to Central Texas, including an assistant manager, court monitors, event coordinators and cashiers. A job fair will be announced at a later date.
