Capriotti’s Opens First Nebraska Location In Lincoln

Sandwich Shop Celebrates Debut By Giving First 100 Guests Free Sandwiches

July 29, 2015 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS – Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop announces the upcoming arrival of its first Nebraska location in Lincoln. Franchisee, Corey Tallman, will be opening the new Lincoln location on Monday, August 3rd, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued expansion across the United States. On opening day, Capriotti’s will be give the first 100 guests a free 9” Bobbie to commemorate the new store opening.

Corey Tallman first came across Capriotti’s while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Information Security at the University of Advancing Technology in Phoenix, AZ. It only took one visit for Corey to fall in love with the sandwich shop’s subs. After moving back to his home state of Nebraska, Corey knew he had to open a location in Lincoln and introduce Capriotti’s to those who never had the chance to taste its award-winning sandwiches. With his passion for sharing the Capriotti’s experience, Corey plans to open at least two additional locations in the Lincoln area by 2017.

Since its humble beginning in the small Little Italy neighborhood in Wilmington, DE, Capriotti’s has remained dedicated to serving its guests delicious, handmade subs crafted with fresh ingredients. Capriotti’s continues its founding tradition of slow roasting whole turkeys in-house each night and hand shredding them every morning to make its subs. Some of the mouthwatering sandwiches include the Thanks-giving inspired, signature creation, The Bobbie®, featuring in-house roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing and a hint of mayo on a freshly baked roll and the Capastrami®, which consists of hot pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, Russian Dressing, and coleslaw. Capriotti’s also offers a selection of salads, like Black & Bleu, and a variety of vegetarian sub options like the Veggie Cheese Steak.
