Tikiz Shaved Ice Awards 22nd Franchise

August 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // BOCA RATON, Fla. – Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream, a mobile franchise specializing in unique frozen treats, has signed an all-new business agreement for the Florida Panhandle. As the 22nd franchise sold, the territory will be operated by owner, Claude “Scotty” Bailey III, who will manage a fully customized and unique Tikiz truck to provide residents, schools, businesses and organizations delicious and refreshing enjoyment year-round.

“The Florida Panhandle is an excellent location for a Tikiz truck and we’re looking forward to helping Scotty grow his very own business,” said Brian Tollefson, founder of Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream. “Tikiz will soon be able to provide the local community with fresh and delicious treats anywhere the truck can go, which is virtually limitless.”

Like all Tikiz franchises, the all-new Florida Panhandle location will feature the Tikiz truck, built from the ground up with numerous custom components to provide a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Based off brand new, heavy-duty, yet fuel efficient Ford truck platforms, all Tikiz trucks share the same, highly visible Hawaiian beach-themed wrap with real, custom surfboard signage, multiple water misters at each end, 20” chrome wheels and custom lighting with strobes, neon colors and steel drum music. The patented “Surv-Board™” dispenser allows customers to create their own fruit syrup creations, while a high-output ice shaver works off high output batteries to provide owners efficient, yet powerful operation.
