August 24, 2015 // Franchising.com // Phoenix, Arizona - Greg S Cutchall has been named CEO and partner at Phoenix based Lolo's Chicken & Waffles. Cutchall, President & CEO of Omaha-based Cutchall Management Company entered into a joint venture agreement with Lolo's earlier this year to open three new company Lolo's in Omaha, Dallas and Las Vegas by year’s end.
"As the relationship developed, we felt Greg would be a great addition to our long range plans for Lolo's.” said Larry "Lolo" White, president and founder of Lolo's. “Greg brings a wealth of 35 years of experience in the restaurant business including 12 years at KFC and 18 years with Popeyes."
"I am excited to partner with Larry, his wife Rasheeda and the other Lolo's partners Mike Anderson, his son Bret Anderson and David Sellers. David is the President of LGE a highly regarded design and build firm in Phoenix and Mike and Bret bring years of experience in real estate development" said Greg Cutchall. "Together with my team at Cutchall Management we are poised to help take Lolo's to the next level".
"Lolo's is licensed to franchise in 48 states but we felt it was important to test the incredible Phoenix stores success in several new markets before we launch our franchise program full force.” Cutchall added.
Lolo's was started. In 1997 when Larry "Lolo" White started serving his famous Chicken & Waffles at his grandmother’s restaurant Mrs. Whites Golden Rule Cafe on “weekends only” in 1997. He later moved his operations to an 800 square foot house in 2002 where he operated Lolo's for ten years. In 2012 White built a 5,000 square foot building in downtown Phoenix and the crowds followed. White and his wife Rasheeda have since opened locations in Scottsdale and Gilbert Arizona in addition to a location at Chase Field and a licensed location in Sky Harbor Airport. The three street locations have enjoyed sales in excess of four million annually each. Lolo's is a full service comfort food restaurant specializing in made from scratch recipes developed by Larry and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
Founded by Greg Cutchall in 1989, CMC is a franchise development company and has opened, acquired or developed over 80 restaurants during the last 25 years.
