New Business Provides Estate Sale, Relocation Services to Lake Norman Region

Caring Transitions of Lake Norman serves Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Concord, Harrisburg and the surrounding communities.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 - Keri Wass understands that helping an elderly loved one move or clearing out the estate of someone who has passed can be emotionally and physically challenging. She’s hoping to relieve some of that stress for families in her community through her new business, Caring Transitions of Lake Norman.

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource for managing senior relocations as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, decluttering, moving and resettling, Caring Transitions can handle estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Lake Norman serves Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Concord, Harrisburg and the surrounding communities.

Wass spent 27 years in corporate America in portfolio and underwriting, incentive compensation, and finance roles for large commercial finance and utility companies. Launching her own business all started when she earned her Master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Accounting in December 2014.

“I came to a point in my life when I had to decide what I wanted to do for the rest of my career. Did I want to keep preparing financial reports and analyzing financial performance or did I want something different? Something that made a difference in my community? As I was reevaluating, I came across Caring Transitions and it really struck a chord with me,” Wass said.

In 2009, Wass lost her grandmother. She and her father flew to California to settle the estate and clear out her home.

“It was an extremely stressful situation. By leveraging my professional experience and strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills, I hope to make a difference for families and individuals experiencing late life transitions. From my own personal experience of clearing a home of personal treasures of a loved one, I hope to provide a stabilizing presence in what is a stressful time,” she said.

Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation, busy families, and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.

Wass is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. Caring Transitions of Lake Norman is bonded and insured, and all employees are background-checked.

Wass is the proud mother of a college freshman studying Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is also known for her leadership and volunteer work in the local public schools, as well as being an active member of Mallard Creek Presbyterian, where she currently is serving as a Deacon and in other leadership roles.
