V’s Barbershop Now Open in Jenkintown/Abington

JENKINTOWN, PA (PRWEB) October 19, 2015 - V's Barbershop®, the leading authentic and upscale barbershop experience, is proud to announce the upcoming grand opening of its newest location in Jenkintown at The Fairway in the Baederwood Shopping Center. This Saturday, Oct 24th from 8-5, please join us to celebrate this inaugural location in the Philadelphia region with food, drinks and prizes along with Sports Radio 94WIP and host Josh Innes. 50% of all services will be donated to The Abington Twp Police Athletic League (PAL). The barbershop has six authentic and beautifully restored antique Koken barber chairs from the early 1960’s, shoeshine services, and amenities such as flat screen televisions, quality grooming products and iconic artwork.

Pharmaceutical Industry veteran Craig Leonardi was looking for a franchise opportunity. After his grandmother passed away, he came across a picture at her house showing a barber standing in front of his chair. The man was Craig’s great-grandfather who owned a three-chair barbershop for over 50 years. Craig quickly realized an old-fashioned barbershop would be a simple business model and men’s grooming is a growing industry. He believed the authentic barbershop concept was poised for a comeback after years in decline. Craig’s wife Tara joined his passion to start their own business and is deep-seated in the daily operations of the shop. “We worked together 20 years ago when we first met and it’s a lot of fun to be working together again side-by-side. We are excited to be part of the community and bring an authentic and upscale barbershop experience to southeastern Montgomery County Pennsylvania.
