November 04, 2015 // Franchising.com // MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) announced the signing of a management agreement with Saceem Group to build and operate a new 120-room Hampton by Hilton hotel in Carrasco, department of Canelones, Uruguay – a stone’s throw from Carrasco International Airport. Scheduled to open in 2017, this mid-priced hotel will become the third property in Hilton Worldwide’s Uruguay portfolio, joining the renowned Conrad Punta del Este and Hilton Garden Inn Montevideo which is set to open later this month.

Located in Carrasco in the department of Canelones just 20 minutes from downtown Montevideo, Hampton by Hilton Montevideo Carrasco will introduce a new accommodation option to this thriving city, offering an array of amenities designed for business and leisure travelers alike. The hotel will feature contemporary and comfortable guestrooms decorated with local art and outfitted with 40-inch HD televisions, mini-refrigerators, coffeemakers, laptop-sized safes and ergonomic workspaces. For guests’ convenience, the hotel will provide complimentary Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped fitness center, a complimentary 24-hour business center, as well as 250 square meters of flexible meeting space.
