Angela Backers Joins Discovery Point Child Development Centers® As Quality Assurance Consultant and Education Trainer

November 12, 2015 // Franchising.com // DULUTH, Ga. – Angela Backers, a 15-year veteran of the early childhood industry, has joined Discovery Point Child Development Centers® as a Quality Assurance Consultant and Education Trainer.

Backers’ responsibilities include conducting visits to centers in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina to ensure quality control across the franchise system by assisting franchisees in daily operations. In addition, she will collaborate with the Manager of Education and Training as an Educational Trainer offering support to Discovery Point teachers and staff.

During her career, Backers has worked as a teacher, a director and a trainer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Psychology from Spelman College and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development from Grand Canyon University. She is currently working on her Doctor of Education from Grand Canyon University, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2016.
