Amada Senior Care Expands to Greater Philadelphia

Orange County Based Senior Care Franchise Opens Office in Western Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PENNYSLVANIA (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 - Amada Senior Care, premier provider of non-medical in-home care and assisted living placement counseling, recently opened a new office in Pennsylvania – its Philadelphia West Suburbs location. Amada franchise partner Wayne Wrolstad came to the senior care industry with over 35 years of experience in healthcare and medical device design, marketing, and sales. The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, February 10th.

Wayne said Amada Philadelphia West Suburbs is committed to making life easier, safer, and more fulfilling for seniors by providing non-medical in-home care. “Our focus is on assistance with activities of daily living –things like getting dressed, preparing lunch, medication reminders, and light housekeeping,” Wayne said. Another offering from Amada Senior Care, BeClose, is a 24/7 monitoring technology available to give seniors and their families an added level of confidence and safety. “We want to help seniors stay in their homes as long as possible,” he said. If staying at home is no longer possible, Amada also assists seniors and their families by offering senior housing advisory services – a form of counseling that helps individuals find the best assisted living environment for their unique situation.

Amada Philadelphia West Suburbs understands the concerns seniors have when it comes to funding their care. Wayne said they are experts at utilizing life insurance policies, long-term care insurance policies, and Veteran’s Aid and Attendance benefits to pay for care. “There are a myriad of ways to pay for long-term care,” he said. “We can help you find the right avenue for your particular situation.”

Wayne witnessed first-hand the process of helping a senior find quality care when he assisted his mother-in-law with Alzheimer’s in searching for the best living situation. “Now when people come to me, I really empathize with them, and I have the knowledge to help them as well,” Wayne said. “I feel grateful that I can provide that kind of advice to people in the Philadelphia area.”

The grand opening of Amada Senior Care Philadelphia West Suburbs will be Wednesday, February 10th. The office is currently looking for qualified full and part-time caregivers to work with their clients.
