Amada Senior Care Continues Substantial Growth, With 60 Franchise Partners Operating Locations in 25 States

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Feb. 11, 2016 // PRNewswire // - After bringing in another 20 franchise partners in the last 12 months, Amada Senior Care is on course to hit its target of 200 by 2018. Today, the innovative in-home care company boasts 60 franchises, giving it a presence in 25 states.

Amada has earned its current success at a time when the senior care industry as a whole is witnessing tremendous change and opportunity. The traditional nursing home model of care is gradually being supplanted by in-home, technological solutions to senior care. While staffing remains a sizable challenge, the Amada business model requires fewer human resources than a typical nursing home facility.

From a demographic perspective, the demand for senior care services of every type will only grow in the coming years. By 2026, senior citizens will comprise about a quarter of the population. Those seniors will also live longer lives than any generation before them. With a stated goal of putting "people before profits,"Amada Senior Care's leadership team looks to do more than simply create business opportunities in a growing market. Instead, the company wishes to embody quality of care, professionalism, innovation and choice.

On the financial side of the equation, Amada's investment-to-profit ratio positions the company as the number one franchise opportunity in the senior care industry today. New franchise partners have seen monthly revenues reach $181,000 in as few as two years in business.

Amada Senior Care founders Tafa Jefferson and Chad Fotheringham, who first crossed paths as football teammates at the University of the Pacific, credit their company's core values as key drivers of this steady, sustainable growth. Media observers have taken note as well. In 2015, Amada earned a top five ranking in Forbes magazine's list of best senior care franchises to own. That same year, Franchise Business Review named Amada one of the five best organizations in the industry, based on franchisee satisfaction. The publication's system emphasizes leadership, financial opportunity, support and general satisfaction, among other factors. Franchise Business Review has also selected Amada as one of the top 20 overall franchise opportunities for 2016.

"We consider our high rankings from leading publications as a proof of concept," remarks Jefferson. "Amada Senior Care's strategy involves attracting and retaining quality franchisees. We don't simply partner with anyone – we look for partners who share and are passionate about Amada's vision."

Jefferson brings 20 years of hands-on experience in senior care to his role as Amada CEO. Most notably, he had the foresight to not only enter this particular market, but to do so in a forward-thinking and revolutionary manner. Amada fully embraces the power of technology to help seniors and their families enjoy an optimal level of independence and security. Meanwhile, the company has worked diligently to proactively manage the effort and overhead involved in long term care insurances claims.

Amada Senior Care has seen growth almost since day one of its founding in 2012. Feedback from current franchisees perfectly illustrates what makes the company such an attractive partner. "After a long due diligence process of the home care industry, it was a very easy decision to go with Amada because of the leadership I saw from Jefferson and Fotheringham," said Patrick Murphy, a recent franchise partner inAustin, Texas.  Michelle Pfeiffer of Carmel, Indiana said, "I liked the energy and compassion that Amada has. It wasn't about the money, or the business side of it. It was about the patient focus. Throughout the whole Amada community, everyone has the same desires."

"I like that what Amada teaches me has already been proven to work," Pfeiffer added. "The guidance they provide and the online accessibility of educational tools for me and my staff make the difference. The ongoing support I receive from everyone there creates a family atmosphere. I'm most excited about getting out in my community and making a difference with the tools Amada has given me."
