Locally Owned Family Business, Caring Transitions of Honolulu, Earns National Recognition

HONOLULU, HI (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 - After less than two years in business, Caring Transitions of Honolulu has been recognized with the company’s national Trailblazer Award.

To earn the Trailblazer Award – which is only given to one of the more than 160 franchisees across the country each year – the owner has to have created paths for others to follow in the areas of marketing, sales and operations. In doing this, the franchisee has been able to build a solid foundation for a successful business that can be duplicated, contributing to the growth of the Caring Transitions system.

“Steve and Amanda have set a course for success in the area of digital marketing lead generation. They have developed a solid foundation using an area of marketing that, in the past, has not been a particularly successful means of generating qualified client leads. They have embraced the Caring Transitions multiple revenue streams, specifically the Online Auction platform and continue to develop the Liquidation and Relocation service in their market,” Caring Transitions President Chris Seman said. “They were #15 in gross sales for 2015 and continue to develop their unique market in the Hawaiian Islands.”

Steve Tokita opened Caring Transitions of Honolulu with his wife Amanda in the spring of 2014. In the last year, Caring Transitions of Honolulu cracked the top 20 in total revenue across the franchise system and was the third ranked affiliate in Caring Transitions Online Auction Sales.

“It is an honor to be recognized. I would like to thank my staff for all their hard work and the corporate office for their advice and support during the year. It takes a village to be successful and my village has been generous,” Steve said. “Our motto is ‘Let our Ohana help your Ohana’ and we truly run our business that way.”

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource for managing senior relocations as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to organizing, packing, decluttering, moving and resettling, Caring Transitions can handle estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Honolulu serves Honolulu and all of Oahu.

Caring Transitions specializes in organizing and managing senior relocations, downsizing, decluttering, and liquidation of belongings and estate sales for seniors who are moving to a smaller home, back in with their children or into assisted living facilities as well as families working through the estate of a loved one who has passed. The Tokitas can help with full and partial liquidations, staging homes for sale, interviewing potential realtors and setting up belongings in a new home. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.
