Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Named Number One on Fast Casual’s 2016 Top 100 Movers & Shakers List

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit saw 19 percent growth year over year.

May 24, 2016 // Franchising.com // Dallas, TX - Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the nation’s largest barbecue chain, was awarded top honors as first place on Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers List, which was celebrated in Chicago last night at an event that coincided with the annual National Restaurant Association Show. Over the past year Dickey’s saw a 19 percent year over year growth rate as a result of innovations including a new data analytics platform, new training program and a complete store design overhaul. In October 2015 Dickey’s launched a new store concept in Dallas, complete with sustainable elements such as a new proprietary wood blend pellet for the smokers. Dickey’s also launched a big data platform, Smoke Stack, which analyzes and reacts to consumer data in real time.
