Dickey’s celebrates grand opening Thursday with four weeks of fun, including free barbecue for a year for three lucky guests

Three lucky guests will win free barbecue for a year at the new Chandler location. “The Dickey family congratulates Owner/Operators Tom Emmons, Donna Martin and Jeremy Steels on opening their second Dickey’s location,” says Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “Dickey’s is proud to open its ninth location in Arizona and looks forward to continued expansion throughout the nation.”

Doors open this Thursday and guests can enjoy the grand opening events over the next four weeks:

Thirsty Thursdays – All guests will receive a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey’s new reusable travel lid and straw. The first 50 guests will receive a taste of Dickey’s butcher taco of the month, the Sriracha chicken taco.

Philanthropy Fridays – “You Give, We Give”, guests who donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, will receive a gift card. Uniformed first responders also receive 50 percent off their meal.

Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday (with dine-in purchase of an adult meal)

Owner/Operator trio Tom Emmons, Jeremy Steele and Donna Martin open their second Dickey’s franchise this weekend in Chandler after building a successful operation in Mesa, AZ. While Martin has a long history in restaurant ownership, Emmons and Steele both have a professional background in technology. Together the three make a smokin’ team that are ready to light up the pit and serve their guests authentic, Texas-style barbecue. “My favorite part of working at Dickey’s is the people,” Emmons says. “I am excited to serve great barbecue to the Chandler community.”
