Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza Opens First Tulsa, Oklahoma Restaurant Today; Celebrates With Free Pizza Giveaway Tomorrow

Fast-Casual, Build-Your-Own-Pizza Concept Invites Tulsa Diners for Free Pizza All Day July 29

TULSA, OK - (Marketwired - Jul 28, 2016) - Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza, the nation's leading fast-casual pizza concept, opens its first area restaurant today at The Walk at Tulsa Hills and will offer free pizza tomorrow from 10 am to 10 pm to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat.

The modern day "pizza joint" has been inspiring excitement and cultivating fanatics for its custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s'more pies since it opened its first location in 2012. Each restaurant features an interactive open-kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu's signature pizzas or create their own, choosing from a wide selection of carefully sourced, high-quality ingredients - all for around $8. The generously-sized personal pizzas are then sent to a blazing hot open-flame oven - the centerpiece of the restaurant - where dedicated pizzasmiths ensure that the thin-crust pies are fast-fire'd and ready to eat in just 180 seconds.

The Tulsa restaurant features a 2,400 square foot interior with seating for 48, as well as an additional 24 seats on an outdoor patio. Located at 8115 South Olympia Ave West, the new location will offer wine and local craft beers on draft, including a selection of beers from Tulsa's own Marshall Brewery.

This marks the first Blaze Pizza in Tulsa and the second in Oklahoma. The concept debuted in the state with the opening of its Oklahoma City location last October. The new Tulsa Blaze Pizza is operated by Blazing Partners LLC, which continues to develop the concept throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.

"Blaze Pizza is a high-quality, fast and affordable addition to Tulsa's dining scene," said David Ostrowe, Franchise Partner for Blaze Pizza and Chairman of the Board for the Oklahoma Lottery Commission. "Our concept is ideal for shoppers on the go, families who are tired of compromising and anyone else looking to try a customizable take on one of America's favorite dishes. Tulsa diners can give us a try on the house all day Friday, July 29."

Each restaurant makes its own dough from scratch, using a recipe developed by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford Kent (the "Pizza Whisperer"), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese.

The authenticity of Blaze Pizza, along with its culture that genuinely focuses on the happiness of its guests and crew, has been the key to the concept's popularity and expansion. Blaze's close attention to detail extends well beyond the food, as seen by its carefully considered, modern approach to restaurant design. Award-winning design architect Ana Henton has added several unique, modern touches to the Tulsa location, including an oversized wall mural custom-built to suit the space.

Driven by its commitment to "Intelligent Choices for Our Pizzas, People & Planet," the restaurant was constructed with recycled and sustainable materials, use eco-friendly packaging and features energy-efficient LED lighting.
